My friend's wedding was beautiful but the venue could have been better. It has a lot of potential but it seems the owner(s) just settle for good enough. The ambience is very rustic but rustic doesn't have to be rusty. The owner attended the entire event and was noticeably present.
The venue Magnolia Flats is amazing, but the owners are the true source of the magic found here. Jay and Debbie are the epitome of what one thinks of when the term "good people" comes up. In my opinion the magic of Magnolia Flats is the result of the magic of the Baker Love.
This venue, run by friendly and down to Earth, Jay Baker, is truly a diamond in the rough! The only reason I give it 4 out if 5 stars, is that it's a more simple and basic wedding/event venue. Plus sides, on-site chapel, rustic charm, and inclusive decor.
