Mae's Ridge is the perfect venue for any event! We toured dozens of venues, looking for a place with good views that would fit the design vision we wanted for our wedding, and Mae's Ridge was the best by far! The whole property is gorgeous, with several indoor and outdoor locations that we used during our wedding.
One of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process was to get married at Mae's Ridge. It is without a doubt the most beautiful venue in the Dripping Spring/Austin area and Joell, Rick and Abby were a pleasure to work with and very kind and accommodating.
Mae's Ridge is a stunning venue with even more stunning views of the Texas hill country. We looked at multiple wedding venues and when we saw Mae's Ridge we knew it was the one. Joell and Rick were amazing to work with. They were very responsive to emails and quick to answer any questions.
On our first drive out to Mae's Ridge, we got stuck in traffic and told ourselves there was no way we were booking this venue. However, we immediately changed our minds as we stepped out of the car. Not only was the venue absolutely stunning, but we were blown away by the warmth and hospitality showed to us by Joell.
Getting married at Mae's Ridge
Mae's Ridge comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
