I could not have dreamed up a better wedding experience than we had at Log River Ranch! Karlee and Austin are truly a class act. In addition to renting the venue, we rented the cabin on the property and made it home for a weekend with our closest friends.
Highly recommend! We were so thrilled to find Log River Ranch. It's location near beautiful Chama, NM was the perfect destination for our fall wedding. Every guest loved the venue and the natural scenery. The Brazos can even be seen across the meadows.

The owners went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and were a joy to work with.
I photographed a wedding about two weeks ago, it had rained but it was absolutely incredible how quickly Karlee and her husband got umbrellas out for all the guests and vendors, they were incredibly accommodating and acted fast.
Getting married at Log River Ranch
Log River Ranch comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
