From the reviews
We had the most incredible experience at Elleholm Barn. The property is absolutely stunning — the lake and large tree made the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and photos. The barn itself is full of charm and was ideal for our intimate summer wedding.
We have enjoyed using Little Lake Barn several times for events! Jeanne is the BEST and so easy to work with. The venue is gorgeous and the views are just perfect. I love the story behind the old Elleholm Barn and it still holds its authentic, old charm. We highly recommend using this venue!
Such a beautiful venue. The renovated barn was perfect for my wedding reception! Lots of great places to take photos, and the lakefront location can’t be beat.
We had our wedding here in June of 2024, and it was beautiful from start to finish. You can truly feel how much care and intention has gone into every part of this venue. The barn is absolutely stunning, especially the staircase, which was such a special feature for us.
Getting married at Little Lake Barn
Little Lake Barn comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Little Lake Barn
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Little Lake Barn — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
