From the reviews
Lavender and Olive is the perfect outdoor venue nestled right in central Ramona. We had our wedding there in September and were absolutely blown away by the beautiful surroundings- we felt like we were in our own private getaway.
If I could give more stars, I would! My now wife, Meghan and I had the opportunity to participate with Lavender and Olive’s “Petite Productions” and felt like we received royal treatment from Carolyn, her husband and their amazing team. Most people who are planning a wedding have many hurdles and stress involved.
It's an absolutely lovely location, clean and well maintain venue. A small airport landing strip in the distance, a glimpse of the mountains through the beautiful trees along the property, A very roomy vacation rental type home, with an amazing coved paito, a large coutyard, a gravel stone walkway, with cool…
Lavender & Olive continues to impress me with their forward motion in always adding something new and exciting to the venue. The addition of the mini pony's and the Water Tank Bar for weddings and events add to the charm and experience of L & O.
Getting married at Lavender and Olive Venue
Lavender and Olive Venue comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Lavender and Olive Venue
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Lavender and Olive Venue — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
