From the reviews
My husband and I had our reception here in November. The place was absolutely incredible!!! The new owners were so kind and professional and accommodated to anything I needed to have my dream wedding! The location was convenient with parking and lighting, the grounds are spectacular and well kept.
Lavender and Old Lace started back in 1979 shortly after my daughter Kimberly Marie Tipotsch was born. My sister Carol Tipotsch was very artistic she had the Christmas Cottage and Lavender and Old Lace both were boutiques. Our father and mother helped Carol build Victoria Lyndsay Properties.
Lavender & Old Lace is a breathtaking venue! My husband and I visited many, MANY venues and once we met Emily and saw the venue we were in love! My mouth dropped open the moment I stepped into the ballroom, but that is not what really made our decision....it was Emily and her team!
My husband and I began looking at wedding sites and servicesonline two years before our wedding date. None of them spoke to us the way theLavender & Old Lace site did. There was just something special about thisplace!
Getting married at Lavender & Old Lace
Lavender & Old Lace comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
