If you are looking for a romantic venue south of Seattle, I highly recommend Laurel Creek. LC is, by far, the most gorgeous venue I've been to in the South Sound...plus, Kirsten and her team are absolutely amazing! My husband and I found Laurel Creek four days after our engagement and we're so glad we did.
Laurel Creek Manor was the absolutely perfect wedding venue. The Manor, garden, wedding tent and all surrounding grounds where all perfect. Our photographer Char Beck had done several weddings at this location, so he knew all the great places for photos! The location is perfect for guests flying in from SeaTac.
Laurel Creek was my dream come true! I got married here last August and it was the perfect place. Being a wedding photographer myself I've been to countless venues but never found one that felt right for me. After finding Laurel Creek and getting to know the owners there was no question.
From the standpoint of a Wedding DJ: Laurel Creek Manor is one of my preferred vendors that I would recommend to anyone. Kirsten is as good as they come, and over the years she has become a friend. She is as nice as she is accommodating, which all you can ask for your in your venue manager.
Getting married at Laurel Creek Manor
Laurel Creek Manor comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
