We had a great time at this beautiful vineyard! It was such a perfect wine tasting experience - the view was serene and the hosts, Tyler and Ellen, were amazing. In the next few weeks, they will be opening up their new Tuscan inspired building/venue which is sure to impress!
As a wine guide for A Great Oregon Wine Tour, I love bringing my clients to the vineyard for tasting. The staff are great and area always so welcoming to their guests. They have multiple seating areas outside the tasting room to fit any size group and bring the next wines out to you.
We stumbled upon Lachini with some extra time between tasting appointments and were greeted by Tyler. We didn’t realize they were closed for winter, and some serious renovation, but Tyler graciously invited us in to share some amazing wines. Several unique vintages caught our attention.
We had an amazing lunch experience in the new Italian Villa on Calkins Lane which is their old estate. The Villa is beautiful and they do host weddings as well. Our lunch was wonderful 5 courses and just two of us and the owner said instead if canceling they wanted to offer us lunch.
