Earlier this year in May, we had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Joseph Ambler Inn. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and stress-free thanks to the incredibly professional and attentive staff.
Jan 2, 2026 We recently had a funeral reception here and everything was perfect. Colleen was extremely helpful and communicative throughout our visit. Buffet style food was excellent, especially the salmon! Leftovers were neatly packaged for us to take home.
Pros: Historic charm. The room was clean and comfortable and the setting was quiet and beautiful. Free breakfast was a bonus. It was basic no nonsense buffet style scrambled eggs, sausage links, potatoes & waffles but the pastries looked home made and tasted delicious.
We had bout 34 people in our group from church, 8 at a table, very large round tables, plenty of room. Tyler was our server, super job!!! Food was fabulous, resturant staff are exceptionally professional, clean clean restrooms ( thats a biggie!) Prices are reasonable. Real classy spot, easy parking.
