My Husband and I got Married at Hydrangea Blu Barn on August 27th, 2016. We chose to rent the property for three days, Friday through Sunday. Rain was in the forecast for the whole weekend and Katy, the owner, allowed us to come Thursday and drop things off even earlier.
My husband and I got married at hydrangea blu on June 25 2022 and we had an amazing day! The venue was sold a few months after we booked it. The old owner never mentioned she was planning to sell or reached out to us prior to or after the sale to communicate the changes which did not make us feel great.
Overall, I am pleased with my experience with Hydrangea Blu Barn. There were some communication issues at the start of my experience, but that did get better getting closer to the date. All staff was helpful and orderly, which I appreciated. Sarah, the event coordinator, is fantastic!
Invited to a wedding here and it poured. The staff was 100% committed to saving the receptionand was running around in pouring rain, soaking wet, to protect decor, rearrange furniture, etc. I also have so many food allergies and they were great with accommodations.
