From the reviews
We had a charity event at this venue. I was in charge of decor for the outside of the manor and some of the inside. I did not work with the venue coordinator but it seemed a bit restrictive.
This is a very cozy spot to have dinner and drinks. A tour of the antique house is available. Tables are set up in each themed room. More dining is available in upstairs rooms, and also a large balcony, where there is comfy patio furniture and a porch swing.
Photographing at Homestead Manor in Thompson’s Station, TN, was an absolute pleasure. The property’s open landscapes, gorgeous trees, and serene surroundings create an ideal setting for capturing naturally beautiful wedding imagery.
The atmosphere here is amazing as are the food and drinks. I would encourage you to check out the bar out back. It's so beautiful. Also check out the music room for dinner or brunch. We also considered this as a wedding venue. Their events coordinator is unbelievable.
Getting married at Homestead Manor
Homestead Manor comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Homestead Manor
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Homestead Manor — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
