Let me start by saying that my husband and I were extremely blessed and actually won an all inclusive micro-wedding in which the Historic Walton House was the chosen venue. And OMG am I lucky that it was! Frank at The Historic Walton was such a pleasure to work with.
I'm a wedding photographer, and the Walton House is my favoriteeeeee Miami venue to photograph. There's no shortage of beautiful spots to take photos of in, the sun sets beautifully over the garden, and Frank is one fo the most genuine and awesome people in this industry. He goes above and beyond for his people .
From the very beginning, my husband and I knew that we wanted an outdoor wedding. Me being from the Caribbean and him being from Miami, it only made sense to us to celebrate our union in an outdoor atmosphere.
Getting married at Historic Walton House
Historic Walton House comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
