From the reviews
The Historic Robertson Homestead is what dreams are made of! Looking for a quiet country setting not so far outside our own back yards? Looking for a little romance, a sprinkle of whimsy? This pristine historical estate provides that and more! Imagine a short drive out of picturesque downtown Rock Hill, SC.
This was our first official tour. Cliff was extremely helpful and explained us how everything works and what we should put emphasis on. He was super chill and easy-going. I did not feel pressured once during this tour unlike with some other ones we had. The wedding ceremony is by the creek and it’s a scenic view.
There aren't enough words to describe how appreciative we are of Cliff, Sarah, and the staff who helped make our wedding a dream come true. Cliff and Sarah are SO kind and went above and beyond. They answered all my questions throughout the planning process and were so accommodating. The venue is absolutely stunning.
Our wedding at The Historic Robertson Homestead was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is dreamy—so beautiful that I truly couldn’t have found a better place to celebrate our day. It was everything I imagined and more, the absolute perfect setting for our wedding. On top of that, the staff is incredible.
Getting married at Historic Robertson Homestead
Historic Robertson Homestead comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Historic Robertson Homestead
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Historic Robertson Homestead — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
