Wow!!! Just wow!! An old horse farm/barn turned into a wedding/events facility.. It is just a few short miles outside of Bowling Green. You can have your ceremony indoors or outdoors. The indoor reception/dining/dance floor is HUGE with high ceilings.
We had the most beautiful and special wedding at Highland Stables! The staff makes it so easy and seamless. The main reasons we chose to have our wedding here is the beautiful setting, the ease of transitioning indoors for ceremony if the weather permits, and all of the decor they have available.
Absolutely stunning! If you’re planning a wedding, or any event for that matter, Highland Stables is the place to go! We rented the venue for two days (Friday + Saturday) for our wedding. Highland Stables provided tables, chairs, table cloths, and all of decor we used on our big day (So much bang for your buck)!
I recently attended a wedding at this venue and was very pleased with the way the stable has been renovated. It is beautiful and one can tell many hours have gone into the planing and decor. That much space could easily look empty if not handled properly. But the staging, for this event, was done perfectly.
Getting married at Highland Stables

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
