Hermitage Farm was the highlight of our day through their tour experience. They were so amazing. Ryan, our guide, took us everywhere, viewing the gardens, bourbon tasting, visiting the horses, and the historic grounds. The lunch they provided was incredible.
Although it was a cold, gray day we ventured out to tour the farm and we practically had a private tour. We caught the 1:30pm tour on Sunday and were transported via van to several locations on the farm to see the horses up close and in person. We learned so much new information! What a great tour, even if it was cold.
My husband and I got married at the Main House of Hermitage Farm in January and it was completely magical! The house and art are unimaginably beautiful and the food and beverages were (obviously!) delicious.

Getting married at Hermitage Farm
Hermitage Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
