We just returned from three unforgettable nights at Heritage Farms and can’t recommend it enough! Our 4-year-old was in absolute heaven—feeding the alpacas, playing with the kittens, and taking in all the open space to run and explore.
Although we were welcomed as Harvest Hosts guests, Heritage Farm is so much more! There's an open-air tent and clean red barn set up for wedding parties. Outdoor restrooms appear to be rustic, but feature nice flush toilets and sinks with running water.
I visited the farm and stayed two nights with my best friend and her kids. We had (4) kids under 5 years old there and all loved it! The kids LOVED the barn cats, got a kick out of the pigs and enjoyed a wagon ride. They got to feed the alpacas and that was a highlight of their time!
Heritage Farm is beautiful, so much so that we decided to host our wedding here later in the year! Our first weekend stay was in February 2026, where we stayed at the River Birch cabin. It was an excellent experience, from the in-cabin fireplace to the dogs and cats running around (along with the wanderer alpaca!).
