From the reviews
I highly recommend this venue for anybody getting married in the area! It really made our wedding weekend so special being able to have a suite large enough to accommodate our whole bridal party. Not to mention how sweet and helpful Jerri, her husband and staff were.
Stayed here for my brother's wedding in May 2023. This place is beautiful!! The venue could not have been better! This location is absolutely stunning. The homes have been restored with exquisite attention to every detail. The story behind the name is also special. I stayed in the Carriage House.
This place is beautiful! We stayed in the main house but they also have a carriage house right behind the main house that can be rented too. Each house will sleep 6 people. They also have a building that can be rented for weddings or family reunions and such.
Came here for my cousins wedding. The Havisham House was very helpful to them as they sort of were booked in an emergency. The staff did their best to accommodate a large wedding. The outdoor space served as ceremony space. The inside was well decorated. Thanks to the staff for helping make the wedding beautiful.
Getting married at Havisham House
Havisham House comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Havisham House
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Havisham House — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
