From the reviews
The Best choice we made during the wedding planning process was to have or ceremony/reception at Harvest View Farms. My guests were mostly from the East Coast and were blown away by the the setting and the Pot Roast! 10/10 If I had to do it again I’d go back to Harvest View Farms
I found Harvest View Farms while my fiancé and I were living in Boston. We thought it would be a great place to get married after we moved to Iowa. Our wedding there was better then we could have imagined. Brenda and David were very helpful and helped with anything we needed.
I traveled from out of state to attend a wedding reception for dear friends on July 3rd, 2021. This venue was awesome and a perfect location and venue for them. It is a beautifully constructed barn / party hall that allows many options depending on your budget and preferences.
This is a awesome place with very friendly owners!!! Trying to run a business Just wanted to say I know these people personally and know theirs always two sides to every story.
Getting married at Harvest View Farms Weddings & Gatherings
Harvest View Farms Weddings & Gatherings comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Harvest View Farms Weddings & Gatherings
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Harvest View Farms Weddings & Gatherings — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
