This place is absolutely beautiful. We had our wedding here after coming to tour/visit a few months previous. We came back for engagement pics and to tour it a couple more times before the wedding (even after hours). Kelly is wonderful to work with and so accommodating.
I absolutely love Harn Homestead! The first time we met Kelly she worked around our schedules to give us a tour of the homestead. She explained everything we needed to know and even gave us recommendations as we began planning our wedding. We were able to take our engagement pictures on site with no extra cost.
I was poking around on Google maps and found this little gem. It is open seasonally so check before you go. Public park that is also a wedding venue. Very calming to be here. I had never been but was very happy to step into the past.
We held our daughters wedding here on December 15th. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. We were so please and would do another event here 100%!! The people we worked with from the venue were nothing short of spectacular. They were kind and informative. They responded to my every (many!!!
Getting married at Harn Homestead
Harn Homestead comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
