Having our wedding at Handsome Hollow was an absolute dream. Kate and her team are professional, thorough, and beyond helpful before and on the day of the wedding. The location and grounds are stunning! We chose to have our ceremony in the fern forest a little ways up from the barn - it's like walking into a fairytale.
Handsome Hollow was our dream venue for so many reasons, and we are so happy with our choice. Logistically, they were one of the only outdoor venues we spoke to that had a viable and lovely rain plan (so many places told us to rent a tent or hope for the best...) which was a huge plus as we were doing a spring wedding.
It's always a pleasure to work at Handsome Hollow. Kate and Huck have done a fabulous job with the venue and keep it in top notch condition. There are so many possibilities for customizing a wedding there. We love designing the space for weddings. See some of our photos. we highly recommend this venue to couples.
HH is a venue with beauty that is otherworldly and Kate and Huck are so professional, hospitable, and on top of their game, that all of your wedding dreams will come true if you choose HH. The Grounds- HH is breathtaking.
Getting married at Handsome Hollow
Handsome Hollow comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
