From the reviews
We had the absolute pleasure of being guests at the Gufler Mansion this past weekend and could not speak more highly of the experience. We consider ourselves a bit of an adventurous couple and were looking for a quick getaway as we were traveling down from Kansas City.
We love the Gufler Mansion! My sisters and I had a blast. We reserved the Rooftop Suite, it was spacious and comfortable. Ben and Deborah were welcoming and full of information about the history of the Mansion and the town.
I don't even have the words to express how much I love Brad & Susan at the mansion! I had my wedding there, booked the whole building, and they helped me with every single curve ball I threw their way - having a late October wedding is not for the weak! Such a sweet, genuine couple who are GREAT at what they do.

Getting married at Gufler Mansion
Gufler Mansion comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Gufler Mansion
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Gufler Mansion — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
