From the reviews
Event space that was made for beauty! Loved the wedding we had for Brittany and Ryan! Great place!
Joe and Becky Mauldin recently hosted our son's wedding at their lovely venue, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We are in the wedding business, baking cakes in Greensboro, NC, and we have worked with scores of venues across the state, into South Carolina, and Virginia.
We had the best experience at Green Gates. MS. Becky and Mr. Joe were so helpful from planning to setting up exactly how we envisioned it. The getting ready spot for the bridal party is BEAUTIFUL! There is a full bathroom and kitchen, and a great area for hair and makeup.
Green Gates is by far the most beautiful venue I have seen. I’m 66 years old and I’ve seen a few. Everything inside and outside are done in such wonderful taste. Neat and clean and wonderfully decorated. All the imported flooring, wood and furniture are beyond words.
Getting married at Green Gates Farmhouse
Green Gates Farmhouse comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
