From the reviews
Chrissy, Mike and all the staff were amazing!!! From the planning phase, to rehearsal and the entire wedding day, they were attentive, helpful and just amazing to work with. They truly care about the people they are taking care of and go above and beyond to help make your wedding day amazing!
We came for the all-you-care-to-eat-chicken...Wednesday night is the only time I think they offer this. This time we ordered the combo (Fish and Chicken) dinner. It comes with rolls, a side (we had green beans) and cole slaw, along with two pieces of cod plus all-you-care-to-eat fried chicken.
I come to Great Oaks Banquet for events like the winter market, bingo, and whatever other events I can make it to. Let me just say, Mike and Chrissy are so nice and welcoming! Bingo nights with Mike feel like I’m hanging out with family, he’s seriously one of the kindest people. And the food?? AMAZINGGG.
If you like chicken. That's the place to go. Atmosphere is so good. They have bingo. If your going on Wednesdays you can eat and play bingo. The owner is friendly and nice. Worried about how you experience was at his restaurant. like we always tell him it was wonderful
Getting married at Great Oaks Banquets & Events
Great Oaks Banquets & Events comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
