I just had the privilege of photographing a wedding at Gin Creek. Besides being a vendor, I was also there as a guest of the bride and groom. We stayed the weekend at the cabins with the entire bridal party and family. We had breakfast, rehersal and rehersal dinner on property.
Doug, Meaghan, and the wedding planner were so impressive from making the reservations, to preparing and “moving beer from one venue to another” and especially on my son’s wedding day!
If I could give Gin Creek 100 stars I would! Gin Creek blew us away from the day we toured it to the day we checked out after the wedding. Doug, Meaghan, Mark and their entire crew do everything they can to ensure you have the exact wedding experience you want.
My husband and I had our wedding at Gin Creek and it was more than we had dreamed. The owners were helpful and kind, the venue was beautiful (they have more than one venue option, too!), and the service was impeccable.
Getting married at Gin Creek
Gin Creek comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
