We had our wedding at Gilfillan Farm and couldn't have asked for a better venue. We loved the history of the property, working with the volunteers, and the flexibility to have both our ceremony and reception all in one place. Gilfillan is a hidden gem in Pittsburgh and one that we will continue to visit!
First time we have visited for thier Barn Yard Beer Benefit. It was a nice time food and beer were amazing. Will def be back
Gilfillan is a VERY idyllic destination. We had an amazing high school graduation party that we’ll never forget. I can highly recommend it !
Getting married at Gilfillan Farm
Gilfillan Farm comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
