From the reviews
We had our wedding last week at General Potter Farm and it was fabulous. The barn and grounds are gorgeous and need minimal decor, and Binky and Amanda were extremely helpful in making sure the day went smoothly.
This place was such a Great place to have our wedding and reception at! the set up was made easy with Binky, After they fix the gps with the directions it'll be so much easier. We fell in love with the location on our first visit and had to book it. with the owners help it made an even easier night and weekend.
I got my family photos done here and it is breathtaking! So much so, that I have recently inquired about holding an event here - you can’t beat the views or vintage look that the barn and landscape gives.
General Potter Farm was a beautiful setting for our client's 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. The space was well-kept, flexible, and perfect for hosting a meaningful gathering. Thanks to Amanda for her hospitality!
Getting married at General Potter Farm
General Potter Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
