We had our wedding at Gatherings on the Ridge on June 29th. We were not originally planning to have our wedding here, but oh my goodness would I not change a thing! We had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. First, this is a beautiful venue and pictures do not do it justice.
We attended the wedding of our son and his bride at this most beautiful Wisconsin barn venue in early July. The property and grounds are gorgeous, and the barn is incredible. The ceremony was held outside under a big maple tree, and the reception, dinner and dance were inside.
When choosing all of our vendors, having genuine people being by our side on our wedding day was our number one priority. Not only did we have just that with everyone we worked with at the venue but every guest was so amazed at how beautiful the barn and property was.
Very beautiful barn for a reception. Lots of places for pictures on site as well as a beautiful porch, backyard, and garden. The barn is not air conditioned, so it was warm, but they had ceiling fans and giant floor fans. Bathrooms were well kept and staff was kind and efficient with their jobs.
Getting married at Gatherings on the Ridge
Gatherings on the Ridge comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
