From the reviews
We had our October wedding at Four Winds Farm in Peterborough. It was so incredibly picturesque. We rented out the barn and hill house for the whole weekend, and it was definitely worth it! So much space for wedding party and family to stay.
I can't think of a more ideal space and place for an event in New England. The old barn with its amazing history and decor, the view of Mt. Monadnock, The swing over the hill, the bridge crossing over the beaver pond. Just spectacular! Truly a gem and right outside of downtown Peterborough!
Four Winds Farm is a beautiful place with a unique history of art, agriculture and conservation woven across four generations. The character and charm of the farm are authentic and run deep. Nowhere is this more evident than in The Barn where the farm's theatrical history provides a backdrop for events.
Our wedding at Four Winds Farm was pure magic. The eclectic décor, sweeping views, and enchanting ambiance created a setting that felt both intimate and timeless. Every corner of the farm held its own quiet wonder, and the venue helped make our wedding the best day of my life.
Getting married at Four Winds Farm Events
Four Winds Farm Events comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Four Winds Farm Events
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Four Winds Farm Events — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
