“It’s a living history experience where you can see old homesteads, learn about early farming, and even spot heritage livestock like Florida Cracker cattle and horses.”
From the reviews
I signed my daughter and I up for a 1 hour trail ride with Cheryl and it was incredible! Highly recommend to spend the day out at the Florida Agricultural Museum to ride the horses and/or do their Museum Tour. There is the sweetest donkey, cow and mini horse up front too!
I recently visited this place on a whim after researching Florida Cracker Sheep and seeing that they raise them here. I went for the full tour and had Diamond Jim as my guide. I had a blast! I learned so many fun things about how agricultural families lived and worked in the past.
Cannot say enough amazing things about this place. I've been wanting to visit for a while now and finally took my kids there for an impromptu afternoon adventure. We LOVED it!!!! The museum itself is so sweet and the farm very nice. Everything is well cared for and the animals are so cute and happy!
This was our second visit to the Museum. We went on the 1hr trail ride and absolutely loved every minute! Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. She told us so much about the horses, their care and the boarding options they offer. She mentioned their camp for the summer as my 13yr old was with us.
Getting married at Florida Agricultural Legacy Learning Center, Inc.
Florida Agricultural Legacy Learning Center, Inc. comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
