From the reviews
Wow wow wow! This is the most magical peaceful country oasis! The farm house is absolutely stunning- every detail is perfect! It’s luxurious while being so comfortable and cozy. The moment you walk in the door you feel at ease. It was the perfect location for our family reunion.
This place is pure magic in all forms! We recently stayed here and held our wedding on the grounds of this amazing place. The house itself is impeccably charming and clean. The surrounding views are cinematic.
We had our wedding at Farm 1849, and it was everything we dreamed of and more. From the very first tour, we felt an immediate sense of warmth and connection from the property and from the owners, Kristen and Trevor. Choosing this venue was one of the best decisions we made!

Getting married at FARM 1849
FARM 1849 comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at FARM 1849
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at FARM 1849 — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
