So my daughter got married here in September 2018. It's hard to put into words how happy we were with this venue. The truth is, the venue was out of our price range, because it is more expensive than others. So we booked a different venue that was nice but not AS nice.
As a wedding photographer, I get to experience venues from a very unique perspective--and Ethereal Gardens in Escondido truly lives up to its name. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how intentionally the space is designed.
We just had our wedding at Ethereal Gardens in November and this was the best decision we could have made. The Trademark Venues team and our wedding planner Natalia were amazing. They handled all of our decor set up and tear down which was a huge relief.
I've shot a couple weddings at Ethereal gardens and the other beautiful Trademark venues. I only have great things to say about them. Their venues are top notch and every photographers dream to shoot at. The Trademark staff is always so great to my couples and to their vendors.
Getting married at Ethereal Gardens
Ethereal Gardens comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
