From the reviews
Cypress Lake Farms is a gorgeous venue with beautiful rolling hills. You will not find a friendlier, more accommodating staff to work with. I've also known the owners for close to three decades and they are what you call "good people".
This is THE most gorgeous wedding venue in Alabama!! And not overly priced! Our daughter and son in law had the best experience for their perfect day! Jason and Barbie did a fabulous job running everything and keeping the pace set for a smooth wedding experience. Very professional! I would recommend 1000%
This is an amazing venue for weddings, corporate events, baby showers, or whatever your gathering may be! The hosts/staff are what really separate them from the pack, not to mention it's a really beautiful landscape, by a lake nestled in the woods, not too far from town!
The owners was so awesome. The wedding coordinator Barbie was the best also . The wedding went so smooth and was worried with weather but they was there to make sure everything was perfect. Love this venue!!
Getting married at Cypress Lake Farms
Cypress Lake Farms comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Cypress Lake Farms
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Cypress Lake Farms — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
