From the reviews
❤️❤️❤️💒 Nice & pleasant establishment!! Went to a wedding here!! It was choreographed by the planner very well. It had plenty of room for all the guests. Activities, interactions, open bar, catering, live DJ... the works!
My husband and I booked with CCF a little bit less than 2 months before our wedding date. Jeff and Susan answered all of our questions before/during the whole process, promptly and with a smile. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the pictures online do not do this place justice.
My husband and I got married at Cold Creek Farm on November 5th and it was everything we could have dreamed of!! The decorators were very accommodating and attentive to our request. The food from Big Girl's catering was AMAZING, as was our cake/cupcakes/mini pies from Cake House On Main!!
We moved to Utah shortly after getting engaged, but wanted to get married back home in Georgia. I knew about Cold Creek from living in Dawsonville before moving, and we went to tour it. Jeff and Susan were fantastic about working with us to get a tour in, and we loved the packages they offered!
Getting married at Cold Creek Farm
Cold Creek Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Cold Creek Farm
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Cold Creek Farm — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
