The setting
“Such a magical environment, welcoming staff, and incredible well taken care of horses.”
“They also help harvest their own food from the garden and can help care for the animals at the ranch (last year there were baby goats there to be bottle fed).”
“Whether it’s galloping a horse in the pasture, or floating on the river, you’re bound to find something to fill your days with endless fun.”

From the reviews
This is the idea place to come for summer camp, horse back riding, and getting to experience life on a ranch. Albert, Jordan, and their staff are amazing, you will feel like family and a real cowboy. The facilities are great, food is delicious and I heard they even host weddings.
Albert and Jordan are great people to work with! We loved having our wedding at Castle Rock Ranch!
Our daughter has attended the last few years and she LOVES it. She's as plugged in as the next teenage girl, but something about this place makes it easy for her to leave that behind and really experience life in the here and now. Kids get to ride horses, float the river and hike everyday.
Jumping over one’s shadow doesn’t happen very often. My gf used to ride before developing great respect for horses and only after noticing how understanding and connected Jordan and Albert are with their horses and their profession, she got on and we enjoyed a wonderful day together on the trail and the ranch.
Getting married at Castle Rock Ranch
Castle Rock Ranch comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
