Canyon Run Ranch is one of the most beautiful venues I've had the pleasure of photographing! The class and kindness of the owners, and the versatility of the location are second to none.
Amy and Gary were an absolute pleasure to work with, and all of the love and effort they put into the venue really shows. Amy was always so responsive with any questions we had throughout the planning process.
Lovely facility for a wedding. It's quite a drive out and very narrow roads with few streetlights. Return drive could be dangerous, so have a designated driver, or some sort of shuttle. Important note there is no cell service at this location.
Beautiful venue with some minor issues. Brother got married there and every single thing that could go wrong did go wrong. And what little staff that was there couldn't keep up since it was way too big an event for such few people. Other staff was gone because it was out of peak season (understandable).
Getting married at Canyon Run Ranch
Canyon Run Ranch comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
