From the moment we set foot on the property, we knew Camp Lucy was something special. Our very first walkthrough with Jessie sealed the deal — she welcomed us with warmth, excitement, and made us instantly feel like we were in the best hands.
We recently had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at The Vineyard at Camp Lucy, and it was one of those venues that immediately makes your job easier as a photographer.
I had the opportunity to spend time here for a special event with the institute of classical architecture and art. This was definitely a venue worthy of an architecture and art expedition! So much of the grounds are beautiful gardens, and everything was built by the owners who had amazing architectural vision.
Stayed here back in May 2023, and it was such an amazing stay. I really loved the location. It's in a more rural part of Dripping Springs, TX and you can breathe in fresh air and hear birds chirping in the morning time clearly. The rooms were pretty nice and service was top notch.
Getting married at Camp Lucy

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
