I attended one of my former student's wedding at Camp Loughridge on Sunday, November 23, 2024. The view from inside the chapel featured a lovely sunset over a small, wooded lake. It was perfect. The reception hall was decorated nicely and easily accommodated a crowd of around 200 people from my best estimate.
We had the perfect wedding at Camp Loughridge! This place is so beautiful both outdoor and indoor. I loved the Chapel it was perfect with a beautiful view. Our family loved it too. It was their first time going to Camp Loughridge and they left very impressed. The staff was exceptional. Karen went above and beyond.
Generally just a beautiful serene place with clean, modern & rustic facilities. There are outdoor coves and auditoruims, lake side sanctuaries, a chapel, reception/ball room, zip lines and pools. It is the place to book for wedding events, camping groups, corporate retreats and team building activities.
Invited as a guest to niece's wedding who used the Camp Loughridge chapel for her wedding & Temple Convention Center for the reception after. It is a gorgeous location surrounded by woods, hilly terrain, & overlooks a creek. Hours of closure, 4pm, for chapel presented no problem.
Getting married at Camp Loughridge

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
