From the reviews

An absolute magical place to have a wedding! Our guests can't stop talking about what a beautiful, unique, and special venue we chose. (Good job, us!) Our ceremony was on the porch overlooking the pond, cocktail hour was outside, and the reception was in the gorgeous lodge -- and then about half our guests opted to…

Went for a wedding and it was beautiful. The way the ceremony was set up was kind of bad because the bride and groom were blocked by pillars the entire time so that was the only down fall. Other then that we had an amazing time and even got to stay in the cabins overnight and weren't bothered!

Went to a friend's 40th birthday - plenty of space to lay out food for a buffet, big dance floor, I think maybe 10 tables of 8. Very farm/camp vibe but 5 star accommodation.

★★★★★ — Bri, Apr 2026

Great for family outings or organization outings, woodland setting, clean bathrooms, firepit, and a beautiful hall for wedding. Bring your kayak or canoe and go fishing or just paddle around the pond. There is a swimming area with lifeguards and brand new docks.

Getting married at Camp Kiwanee

Camp Kiwanee comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.

Corporate events & private parties at Camp Kiwanee

Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Camp Kiwanee — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
