The setting
“An absolutely wonderful wedding venue, very well maintained venue and grounds, with its own rustic and welcoming feel / vibe.”
“We were slightly concerned that the remote location of the site could limit the quality of the vendors, but we found great vendors in Black River Falls, La Crosse, and West Salem.”
“We chose Burlap and Bells for our wedding venue because we loved the outdoor ceremony space in the woods along with the charming pavilion.”

From the reviews
I had the honor of having my wedding at the Burlap and Bells venue last night. If you are the fence about if you will use this venue or not… DO IT. The owner, Laurie, is one of the most accommodating, kindhearted, organized, and empathetic people that I have met.
Laurie and Jason went above and beyond to accommodate my wife and I’s wedding. She allowed us to move our date way forward when we found out that a family member that we wanted to be at our wedding has terminal cancer and won’t be with us much longer.
My wife and I just got married here last Friday and couldn't be happier. The beautiful pine forest was perfect for our forest fairy wedding, and all of our guests were so impressed with the natural beauty at Burlap and Bells.
We traveled from Iowa to Wisconsin for our micro wedding. When asked why we chose to travel 5+ hours for a small ceremony, the answer was simple: Laurie and Burlap and Bells. These five star reviews are spot on. This venue is more than a place to get married.
Getting married at Burlap & Bells
Burlap & Bells comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
