From the reviews
We were here for a wedding and the property and facilities are amazing. The barn the wedding was hosted in had some very unique reclaimed wood.
(I'll add more photos when I get them back from the photographer.) When my now-husband and I first viewed this venue, we were sort of not serious about it. We thought we loved a different venue that didn't suit all of our needs, but that was...workable. So we told ourselves to go view ONE more venue, just for fun.
Just got married here Saturday. Could not have asked for a more perfect place ! The view,, the barn, all the accommodations. Can use their decor and they have a huge selection. But it is already so beautifully decorated. Have all you need to set up for wedding and reception.
Absolutely beautiful farm setting with a large lake, spacious indoor / outdoor seating area. The kitchen is gorgeous and a joy to cook in! We are Covered Bridge Supper Club ~ hosting lovely guests from all around Blount County and beyond on Thursday evenings.
Getting married at Bullard Farm Hitchin’ Post
Bullard Farm Hitchin’ Post comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Bullard Farm Hitchin’ Post
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Bullard Farm Hitchin’ Post — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
