From the reviews
We hosted our family’s Traveling Reunion here last week. Rented the whole barn burner and the event space. Everyone loved it!! The apartments are very clean and stocked with everything you need. I slept the best I ever have when I was there. Very comfortable bedding. The upstairs patio was a tremendous hit.
Excellent place to stay! Beautifully decorated, excellently appointed,& perfect location. We rented all 4 condos & the connected venue space for my daughter's wedding weekend. The entire wedding party & immediate family stayed, 20 of us with plenty of room to spare. We had the wedding reception there as well.
Amazing place to stay, super clean, very well stocked, super easy to communicate with Kara. She has thought of everything these units could possibly need and even gone beyond! We rented all the units except the event space as it was not needed for our group.
We recently rented the Brown County Barn Burner for our family Christmas gathering, and it was absolutely perfect! Our family of over 20 people had a wonderful time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue.
Getting married at Brown County Barn Burner
Brown County Barn Burner comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Brown County Barn Burner
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Brown County Barn Burner — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
