We had the BEST experience from the beginning with Bohemia Overlook for our wedding! The 3 wedding venues on the property are all so gorgeous. We had our rehearsal in the Barn and the wedding at the Beach. The staff was amazing to work with from our first walkthrough to any questions we had during planning.
My husband and I got married at the Manor at Bohemia Overlook this past June (2021) and I could not recommend it more. When we were looking for venues we knew we wanted to get married on the water and finding the Manor at Bohemia Overlook felt like hitting the jackpot.
Bohemia Overlook was the perfect venue for my daughter Annie’s wedding. From start to finish, the day was magical. The setting on the Elk River is absolutely stunning - breathtaking views, a gorgeous tent, and the historic manor house provided the ideal space for Annie and her wedding party to get ready.
The barn venue at Bohemia Overlook was the perfect venue for the bridal shower I hosted. It was spacious and beautiful. I loved working with Kim and our event coordinator. They went above and beyond to make our event special.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
