From the reviews
We enjoyed a wonderful and beautiful wedding for our daughter at Blue Heron Barn in June 2022. The barn itself is in pristine condition. We viewed many barns in the area and this is one of the most beautiful and well kept.
I cannot say enough good things about the Blue Heron Barn!! They truly made our wedding day come to life. They first stood out to us because of the upfront pricing and the tremendous help they provide leading up to the wedding and the day of. The staff is so caring and their passion shines through in all they do!
Tiffany and Bob were the best! We knew Blue Heron Barn was the venue for us immediately upon walking in. That was before we knew all of the amazing amenities that came with the barn! They have a TON of wedding decorations in their ‘something borrowed’ area that are available for use on the wedding day.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We had 2 day of coordinators (bob and Sherrie) that come as a package deal when you book the venue!! They were absolutely amazing. We had no idea what we were doing (specialty at rehearsal) and they made sure everything went perfectly!!
Getting married at Blue Heron Barn
Blue Heron Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Blue Heron Barn
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Blue Heron Barn — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
