From the reviews
Outstanding place for spending the day, especially if you have kids! Once you pay the $10 fee, everything is included (but the animal feed). Recommended the train ride and the discovery barn, where you can see different animals. Also, the paddle boats are a great way of having fun! Very good place!
Blackberry Farm is a wonderful place for families with young children. We visited with our 5-year-old, and there was plenty to keep kids entertained. The train ride was excellent and one of the highlights of the visit. The pony ride was our child's absolute favorite and made the day extra special.
Wonderful place for families especially little ones. We went here recently and the kids loved it. (Private school event) There was a merry go round, train, and huge playground area. There were a variety of animals in the barn area. Kids were loving the baby goats. I'm sure we didn't see everything.
I went for their Thursday night concert series to see 7th Heaven. It's a great venue for that and the weather was warm and beautiful. Good sound, alot of space, bring your own seating, food, drink, or use their seating and buy food at their concession place.
Getting married at Blackberry Farm
Blackberry Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
