We had our dream wedding at Black Oak! We were blown away with the venue at the initial tour, they did a great job showing around the property and answering any questions we had.
This location is very easy to find and such a gem! As you drive in, the elk statues greet you and the views start to wow! As you park and walk up to the barn, you get a very rustic, modern with a minimalist feel. It's gorgeous amongst the vineyards, hills and oaks!

A couple weeks ago I DJ'd a wedding for the first time. Beautiful place that is easy to find right off of the main road but is gated to keep out others. Nice ceremony spot with the sounds of actual livestock to maintain that authentic country vibe and keep the laughs coming.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
