We were married here in 2019. We hosted our family Christmas here in 2023. We’ve had several family photoshoots here over the years. The owners are absolutely incredible! I rave about them to anyone I speak with who is looking for a venue! The flowers and landscaping are gorgeous and the property is so well maintained.
As a wedding photographer I think Black Fox Farms is one of the top venues in eastern Tennessee. The outdoor ceremony location is absolutely gorgeous at the right time of day and the grounds around Black fox Farms offer a ton of different really cool photography spots.
We were married here in 2014. I have no regrets still, in 2022, about this decision. The venue was beyond beautiful, Joe and his family were amazingly helpful and truly made our big day memorable. We chose to get married outside but had the barn as a back up option in case of rain.
Getting married at Black Fox Farms
Black Fox Farms comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
