I recently had the pleasure of DJ’ing a wedding at Birchwood Venue, and I can't express enough how wonderful the experience was. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the enchanting atmosphere of this stunning location. The ceremony area nestled within a wooded area is a bride’s dream come true.
rchwood is quickly becoming one of my favorite venues to photograph at. The stunning black barn is unlike anything else in the area, such a bold and unique backdrop for both ceremonies and receptions.
A friend got married at this beautiful venue, I wasn't sure if the parking area would be grassy or paved which determined which vehichle we drove. The area for parking is gravel, no 4WD needed to park here! The venue is not right along the road rather the paved path winds back behind a home located along the road.
Getting married at Birchwood Venue
Birchwood Venue comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
