Bryan and Danielle have created such an amazing wedding destination, their venue is absolutely beautiful. They are hands on and work very hard to keep it so beautiful. Their customer service was beyond exceptional, they are very professional and very relatable people.
If you are debating on a venue, PICK THIS ONE. It is fabulous. From the first day we visited to the day of our wedding, Bryan and Danielle were so accommodating and are the sweetest couple. The work they put into the venue is insane.
Nice place lots of room to spread out . several areas to sit indoors and outside. Staff was very good and friendly and helpful. One thing that would help greatfully for older people is more sidewalks from place to place for the outside area's.
Our son and daughter in law got married this past September at Barn 1888. We live in the suburbs of Chicago, but this is by far the best wedding venue I have ever been to… the owners, Danielle and Bryan, and all of their staff truly made it a picture perfect fairytale kind of a day!!!
Getting married at Barn 1888
Barn 1888 comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
