Avonley Homestead was a dream! I knew from the minute I toured the property that it was the spot I wanted to marry my best friend at. The property is absolutely stunning. The acres of land made it impossible to run out of picture ideas.
For events at Avonley Homestead, one chooses what Avonley Homestead decor and other items they wish to use; we confirmed with its new owner and an Avonley Homestead representative which items we were planning to use, since we were asked as part of our planning meetings.
Due to COVID, our seniors were preparing to graduate without having a prom experience. No junior prom last year and finding out there would be no senior prom this year either was tough. Avonley Homestead was so gracious and welcoming and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful location.
Highly recommend Avonley Homestead for your wedding ceremony and/or wedding reception! The venue is beautiful and has a lot of versatility when it comes to creating your dream wedding space. They utilize Honeybook which is a platform that makes it easy to quickly review your contract, payments, documents, etc.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception.
