My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Avon Hill Lodge during the Fall of 2022. We had gotten engaged in 2020 and were planning to have our wedding in 2021, but due to COVID we were forced to push our date back so that we could have the wedding of our dreams.
Avon Hill and Bruce’s Barn is an amazing venue, with amazing staff! The venue coordinator, Jocelyn, went above and beyond her contract duties. She made everyone feel welcome and answered any questions that popped up. It’s a wonderful feeling when someone truly cares about their job and the people they are helping!
Avon Hill is an incredible venue with excellent service. I've been there multiple times, and not just for the breathtaking views. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the entire property is clearly well-maintained. They're amazing hosts and will make you feel right at home in the Virginia countryside.
We had our wedding at Avon Hill Lodge & Bruce’s Barn over Memorial Weekend! It was absolutely amazing. Right from the start, and I mean the VERY start, checking out the venue to even see if it was what we wanted - even that was outstanding. The owner, Sarah, was phenomenal and extremely helpful.
